03/30/09 - Warning from Continental Inn
Area hoteliers are advised to be aware of a construction company operating
as Spectrum Interiors and/or Specialty Interiors. Jill Jenkins with Continental
Inn warns that they have many immigrants working for them and will ask
hotels to put all rooms under the foreman's name. Then when you attempt
to direct bill them for rooms and services used they contest the charges
and refuse to pay. It is advised that you treat them as either cash only,
or use a credit card only if the rooms are booked under the individual
who is staying in them's name to help prevent credit card charges from
also being contested.
